Hello Folks,
Sorry about the delay in posting!
I've been pretty involved in teaching and will start getting back to shooting very soon.  I need to start shooting again!
Tuesday, May 23rd I attended  a wonderful workshop at HAS. Make.Art.Work - Career Strategies for Visual Artists. The workshop focused on funding and promoting your career. It's based on the Springboard for the Arts model and sponsored by The Greater Hartford Arts Council as well as a few other organizations. They will be having another workshop coming up next month. Just a few of the suggestions on funding, grants, pricing and galleries was worth the price of admission. The guest speaker was Jeffrey Mueller, Gallery Director at the Silver Mine Arts Center. There is one more workshop scheduled for this year on Making a Living as an Artist. If you are interested check out this website: http://makeartwork.org/workshops/
I've also been watching CreativeLive with many workshops geared towards photographers.  If you are a photographer, you cannot help but get inspired by some of these workshops.  There are also workshops on marketing as well which for many of us artists is not the easiest of areas to develop.

Also, I want to put this out there...does anyone know of a 8 x 10 wooden field view camera for sale?  I have been looking for one for awhile.  I know they are around but I haven't had much luck finding one.  It must be in operating condition, bellows without holes and I will also need a portrait lens for the camera as well as a tripod.  Everything should be made out of wood for easier transportation.  It doesn't have to be an entire set, sometimes piecing things together works well too.  Please email me from my website: http://www.breslinphoto.com

Well, that's it for now - keep shooting!
